The Student Accessibility Services provides individualized support services to Dalhousie University students, and with a full time advisor and staff, we're ready to assist you.

We are an on campus office that assists students by offering programs and advocacy services, fostering an accessible and welcoming campus.

We offer a variety of services for students with permanent or temporary disabilities including:

  • Exam accommodations
  • Note taking program
  • Orientation
  • Assistance in access to funding resources
  • Assistance in obtaining internal & external services

Did you know that there are grant programs - Provincial and Federal - available for students with a disability?

Non-repayable/grant funding of up to $10,000 - $12,000 per year per student - based on the Province/Territory of origin may be available to qualified students.
